Hope Place provides a fresh start for  families with children who have been displaced from their homes by  difficult circumstances and a safe place for homeless unaccompanied  youth (18-24) to live while pursuing an education.

The mission of the First Step Shelter is to assist homeless, single  adult men and women, who have the potential to stabilize their life and  live independently, to move from homelessness to housing. We maximize  services and resources, in partnership with fellow community  organizations, to reduce homelessness in Volusia County.

The Neighborhood Center of West Volusia

Since May 2008, IDignity has hosted monthly Client Services Events where  governmental partners and more than 120 volunteers serve over 200  people in need.  At these events, qualified clients can get a Florida  birth certificate, as well as a Florida ID (or license renewal).  We  also offer our clients help with getting a Social Security card or  verification information.

Transitional Housing for Single Adults.

Palmetto House, with its forty-eight rooms, is the largest temporary  housing facility in Volusia and Flagler Counties. Its purpose is to  facilitate the movement of homeless individuals to permanent housing  within a reasonable amount of time (usually 24 months).

CAN Community Health

Volusia County Human  Services provides temporary emergency assistance and supportive  services to eligible residents of Volusia County. The Family  Self-Sufficiency Program will provide eligible individuals with  educational and training opportunities to empower them to become  economically self-sufficient.

Live Love Life

For more than 50 years, Council on Aging of Volusia County has been the  only local non-profit focused exclusively on providing vital services to  Volusia County seniors.

We offer confidential help for Veterans, service members, and their  families at no cost in a non-medical setting. Our services include  counseling for needs such as depression, posttraumatic stress disorder  (PTSD), and the psychological effects of military sexual trauma (MST).  We can also connect you with more support in VA and your community.

The LaRue House is an intimate clean/sober separate living  community for women in recovery.  Founded in 2009, our mission is to  provide a clean, supportive, and semi-structured drug-free  living  environment for those with a substance abuse problem who want to learn a  new way to live without the use of drugs or alcohol.

Foundation to Freedom provides halfway houses in  Florida for those who seek to recover from the disease of addiction. We  offer a safe and supportive environment for sustained recovery.

Henrietta’s Houses includes our flagship halfway house in Daytona Beach,  Florida. The house offers safe, transitional sober-living housing for  up to 24 women, and is designed to provide the structure and healthy  environment that women who are seeking long-term recovery need.

The Hope/Hay House provides local Recovery Residences in the city of  Daytona Beach, Florida for women. We house up to 20 recovering addicts  at this time. We actively encourage all residents to attend 12 step  meetings regularly and follow the guidelines necessary to be a  responsible, productive member of society and ultimately, reclaim  freedom from active addiction!

Knack’s Place is a sober living environment for men located in beautiful  Daytona Beach, Florida. We provide a safe, structured, supportive,  sober living environment that is conducive to initiating the necessary  personality changes in mens’ lives to bring about recovery from drug  addiction and alcoholism.

We are  here to stop the stigma of recovery, and encourage everyone to find a  program that works for them. The  Fourth Dimension is not a treatment facility. Our sole mission is to  help serve adults that suffer from Alcoholism and/or Addiction. We  provide a safe and orderly home where we learn to take responsibility  for our lives. Our sober living environment is conducive to implementing  a plan of recovery outlined in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous and  many other twelve step programs.
